How much power does the average American lose each year, and where is it worst? Annual national, state and county reports built from DOE/ORNL EAGLE-I county outage records.

Years loaded: 2015–2025. EAGLE-I does not see every utility, and the share of customers it tracks varies by state and year (coverage below), so compare years with their coverage in mind.

County outage records are 15-minute snapshots folded into outage episodes. “Hours per customer” is a SAIDI-like measure: outage customer-minutes divided by modeled county customers, including major storm days. It is not the utility-filed EIA-861 SAIDI.
